BREAKING: Golden Arrows re-sign midfielder from Orlando Pirates

Golden Arrows have officially re-signed a former midfielder who they sold to Orlando Pirates at the start of last season.

Ntsako Makhubela has rejoined Abafana Bes’thende on short-term loan deal, meaning he will return to Pirates in July.

Makhubela spent most of his time with Pirates on the bench as he struggled to cement his place in Jose Riveiro’s starting line-up.

The 28-year-old returns to where it all started for him in the DStv Premiership as he aims to revive his career.

Makhubela temporarily leaves Pirates having featured just 16 times during his 18-month stay without a single goal or assist.

When Pirates signed him, Makhubela had impressed at Arrows, featuring 56 times, scoring four goals and providing three assist.

Arrows took to their social media platforms on Wednesday to unveil Makhubela as their player for the next 16 league games of the current season.

Makhubela joins the likes of Divine Lunga who returned to Arrow from Mamelodi Sundowns, former player Musa Bilankulu who is part of the technical team and coach Mabhuti Khenyeza.

The abovementioned starred for Golden Arrows and left greener pastures before returning to Durban to either play or serve in different capacities.
