After another fun week of the high school soccer playoffs, it’s time to look back on the best performances.
Read about the players who stood out last week and let us know who you think should be the North Jersey Player of the Week in the poll at the bottom of this page.

Luke Ernst
Ramsey senior
Ernst powered the Rams to their fourth straight sectional title by chipping in a goal and an assist on Saturday against Pascack Valley. In four state matches, he had two goals and five assists.
Eric Zawada
Garfield senior
Zawada picked up a goal and an assist on Saturday to send the Boilermakers past Old Tappan, 3-0, for their first sectional title since 2015. The midfielder buried a goal in the semifinal earlier in the week.
Bridget Carr
Ramapo senior
Carr helped the Raiders advance to the North 1, Group 3 final by stopping 11 of 12 shots on the road against Wayne Hills. The Boston University commit and her defense allowed only one goal through the first three rounds.

Grace Dalessandro
Immaculate Heart junior
Dalessandro sent the Blue Eagles back to the sectional finals with a chance at a fourth straight title. She made five saves in a 3-0 semifinal victory and eight in a 1-1 quarterfinal that was decided in penalty kicks.
Nicole Klapowitz
Old Tappan junior
Klapowitz scored the winner and set up her team’s other goal on a corner when the Golden Knights upset top seed Pascack Valley, 2-1, in the North 1, Group 2 semifinals. She also found the back of the net once in the quarters.
Jaelynn Perez
DePaul sophomore
The Belleville transfer stepped up on Friday with a season-high three goals in the Spartans’ runaway victory over Eastern Christian in the North Non-Public B semifinals. She finished with a goal and an assist in the previous round.
