Congo Brazzaville’s boss has given his thoughts ahead of their next 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Bafana Bafana.
The head coach of Congo Brazzaville has expressed his confidence in his team, but remains wary of the challenge Bafana Bafana will pose in their upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

Like many of the other AFCON qualification groups, Group K is a tight affair. South Africa have four points and are second only on goal difference, but are one point better off than their upcoming opponents.
Hugo Broos’ charges have not lost a match since being eliminated by Nigeria in the previous edition of the continental showpiece, but are going up against a nation that is yet to taste defeat on South African soil.
The Red Devils have visited the home of the 1996 African champions on two previous occasions and drew both encounters.
Congo boss Isaac N’Gata has vocalised his happiness with the squad at his disposal, but caveated his statement by claiming he is not getting ahead of himself.
“I am happy with the personal and collective investment of the players. I am happy with them, but it is a measured joy because we are in football, we cannot be 100% reassured. South Africa wants to win at home, we too will go to get them and hope to come and finish the job at home,” the French-born tactician said, as per La Nouvelle Republique.
BSC Young Boys striker Silvere Ganvoula also lauded South Africa, but stated that he and his teammates want to gain a positive result in Gqeberha on Friday.

“South Africa is a great nation and a good team. But we know what we need to do to go and do the essentials in South Africa, and then come and fight to win at home,” he said.
