A veteran club boss might have served his time in the PSL leadership as the expected changes in the governing of the league could affect him, the Siya crew has learnt.
While there are no major changes expected as the PSL will be electing a new executive committee, long-serving Black Leopards boss David Thidiela could be set to vacate his position in the league.

For years, Thidiela served as one of the loyal members of the PSL executive committee, but with the elections coming where a new committee will be elected, indications are that the Lidoda Duvha boss’ seat on the exco is up for grabs.
According to sources, Polokwane City chairman Johnny Mogaladi, TS Galaxy’s Tim Sukazi and Siviwe Mpengesi of Chippa United are some of the candidates to fill the role.
“There is likely to be a change. It’s not going to be major changes, but yes, he (Thidiela) is likely to be replaced and those three leaders (Mogaladi, Sukazi and Mpengesi) are among the candidates. The elections are next month,” said the source.

The PSL is scheduled to elect a new executive committee next month during their general meeting.
As indicated by sources, current PSL chairman Irvin Khoza is likely to retain his position, with Kaizer Motaung, Mato Madlala, John Comitis, Stan Matthews, Rejoice Simelane and Rob Benadie among those likely to remain in the exco.
