Stellenbosch will begin the defence of their Carling Knockout title when they travel to AmaZulu on Friday evening at King Zwelithini Stadium.

Stellies have continued to do well in cup competitions after reaching the MTN8 final but lost 3-1 to Orlando Pirates before the international break.
The Cape Winelands outfit also booked their spot in the CAF Confederation Cup group stages for the first time in their history, after finishing the qualifying rounds unbeaten.
AmaZulu, on the other hand, will start a new era under new co-coaches Vusumuzi Vilakazi and Arthur Zwane, who both replace Pablo Franco Martin, after the Spanish mentor was relieved of his duties following four losses in as many matches.
The KwaZulu-Natal side reached the semi-final of this tournament last season but were beaten 3-2 by TS Galaxy.
The two league clashes between the sides were close contests last season, as Stellies won the first round encounter 1-0 away thanks to a goal by Anicet Oura and the return game ended goalless in Western Cape.
