Kruger United 2-0 University of Pretoria
University of Pretoria’s four-game unbeaten run came to an end after a 2-0 loss against Kruger United on Sunday afternoon at Kanyamazane Stadium.
Kruger broke the deadlock on the stroke of half-time from the penalty spot and secured the three points with the second goal 20 minutes before time.
United leapfrogged AmaTuks up eighth on the log while the Tshwane side dropped down to tenth.
Orbit College 1-1 Durban City
Orbit College’s five-game winning run came to an end after a 1-1 draw against Durban City on Sunday afternoon at Olympia Park Stadium.
Orbit broke the deadlock around the half-hour mark but Joslin Kamatuka equalised for City with 25 minutes remaining.
The Team of Choice remained in third spot on the log, one point behind second-placed North West outfit.
Leruma United 0-0 Highbury
Highbury’s three-game winning streak was halted after a goalless draw against Leruma United on Sunday afternoon at Lucas Moripe Stadium.
Highbury find themselves lying 11th on the log, just three points above the relegation zone and 15th-placed Leruma.

Casric Stars 1-2 Pretoria Callies
Casric Stars went six matches without a victory after a narrow 1-0 defeat to Pretoria Callies on Saturday afternoon at Solomon Mahlangu Stadium.
Santino Smith broke the deadlock for Callies midway into the first stanza and Moremi Seketso doubled their lead early in the second stanza.
Teboho Lekhatla reduced the deficit for Casric moments later.
Stars dropped down to ninth on the log while a win took The Romans up to 13th.
Hungry Lions 2-1 Milford
Log-leaders Milford lost only for the second time after a going down 2-1 against Hungry Lions on Saturday afternoon.
After a goalless first stanza, Hungry Lions broke the deadlock five minutes from the break and got a two-goal cushion just after the hour-mark.
Sifiso Mdluli pulled a goal back for Milford with 14 minutes remaining.
The Stallions’ lead at the top of the table was cut down to three points and a win for Ditau Dia Rora took them up to seventh.
JDR Stars 2-1 Venda Football Academy
JDR Stars bounced back from a 5-2 humiliation by Durban City after a narrow 2-1 win over Venda Football Academy on Saturday afternoon at Giant Stadium.
Banele Hlophe got the breakthrough for JDR on the stroke of half-time and Siyabonga Dubula equalised for Venda in the last eight minutes.
However, Prince Nxumalo snatched the winner for The Hammerboys two minutes before time.
The Tshwane outfit climbed up to fifth in the standings and Venda remained at the bottom.
Black Leopards 1-1 Upington City
Black Leopards extended their unbeaten run to four games after a 1-1 draw against Upington City on Saturday afternoon at Thohoyandou Stadium.
Mwape Musonda opened the scoring for Leopards after the first quarter of an hour But Vuyisile Ntombayithethi found the equaliser for Upington on the stroke of half-time.
Lidoda Duvha remained in fourth spot on the log while Bafana Ba Gucci were left lying sixth.

Cape Town Spurs 1-1 Baroka
Cape Town Spurs’ winless run extended to seven matches after a 1-1 draw against Baroka on Friday evening at Athlone Stadium.
Enock Atta Agyei gave Spurs an early lead but Clyde Combi levelled matters for Baroka on the stroke of half-time.
The Urban Warriors slipped down to 14th on the table, equal on points with 15th-placed Leruma United and Bakgaga were left lying 12th.
