Now, insiders close to Khoza and the club have indicated that the French club is Stade Rennes FC who are believed to be interested in the defender.
According to the insiders who spoke to the Siya crew, representatives and scouts from Rennes have been looking closely at Khoza’s progress.
“Rennes FC representatives and scouts have been monitoring Mali’s (Khoza’s) progress as they have watched most of his games and they are happy with him. It’s believed that they want to assess him in their own environment and see what he can do. Though they are happy with the potential they have seen in him,” the Siya source stated.

A second insider mentioned that if Khoza was to travel to France, it would likely be at the end of the season, following the FIFA Club World Cup in the USA, which should conclude for Sundowns in July.
“The club won’t stand in the way of the player if that chance comes but the only thing is that they would request that he can go for an assessment in July after the FIFA Club World Cup. But yes, the interest is there and it’s promising as long as he can go there and prove that he can do it,” the second insider revealed.
After being promoted to the senior team, Khoza has consistently featured in the Premiership for the Brazilians.
