While his former club, Sekhukhune United, endured a weekend to forget, Lehlohonolo Seema had every reason to celebrate in his new role abroad.
Just over a week after his shock dismissal from Sekhukhune, Seema has landed a fresh opportunity with Bantu FC in his home country, Lesotho.

His return to the club’s technical team has already proven to be a masterstroke, as Bantu clinched the 2025 People’s Cup with a 1-0 victory over their fierce rivals, Matlama FC, on Sunday.
Seema’s instant impact with the Lesotho Premier League outfit has not gone unnoticed.
His ability to turn fortunes around so quickly adds to his growing reputation, especially after his impressive stint at Sekhukhune.
Under his guidance, the club was sitting in fourth place in the Betway Premiership before his surprising release.
A source close to the former Orlando Pirates captain and Lesotho international revealed that while Seema is happy to contribute to Bantu’s success, he remains open to a return to the PSL should the right project come along.
“The coach is happy to be back home, and he is enjoying helping at his former club. That’s the club he played for before he joined (Bloemfontein) Celtic back in those years prior to playing for Pirates. He is not done in the PSL, but that (Lesotho) is where he is helping for now,” said the source.
Meanwhile, back in Mzansi, Sekhukhune struggled under their new coach, Eric Tinkler, as they suffered a disappointing 2-1 defeat to Stellenbosch FC at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium.
The loss saw Babina Noko drop to fifth place, now trailing both Stellenbosch and TS Galaxy – who occupy third and fourth place, respectively – by a single point.

With Seema’s winning touch is evident at Bantu, his name will likely remain in the conversation for coaching roles in the PSL.
Until then, he continues to make his mark in Lesotho, proving that one club’s loss can be another’s gain.
