After starting the tournament with a win over Ulsan HD, Sundowns suffered a thrilling 4-3 defeat to Borussia Dortmund on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Fluminense got their first win on Saturday after defeating Ulsan 4-2 to boost their Last 16 chances.
The win sees the Brazilian outfit sit in second spot going into this evening’s clash, one point ahead of Sundowns.
Miguel Cardoso’s charges know only a win will secure their spot in the knockout stages, while Fluminense will advance with a draw or a win.
