Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Miguel Cardoso has opened up on the decision not to use Peter Shaluile, who has a good scoring record against Kaizer Chiefs.
Sundowns extended their unbeaten start to the season after playing to a goalless draw against the Soweto giants at FNB Stadium.

Shalulile has scored 10 goals in 17 appearances against Chiefs in his career but was an unused substitute in the stalemate on Wednesday night.
“Peter will have opportunities for sure, the question is what kind of game you are playing and depending on the kind of game we are playing – Peter will be used for sure,” Cardoso told SuperSport TV.
“Peter is a player that in short spaces he is fantastic when the team is high to play short spaces, play in the box, he knows very well how to read the game.
“So, that is the Peter we going to use, Peter and everybody in this group is very valuable for us, we don’t reject no one and we just going to manage the right player, moment and occasion.”
Sundowns will be back in action on the weekend with a trip to Cape Town to face Stellenbosch FC.
“Another tough game, beautiful team. I think it will be important to recover see how – assess well the players, see who is able to go for the fight,” he added.
“Stellenbosch has more 24 hours, they played yesterday. I think with this spirit, we are much closer to win, much closer to win match like this one and the one we going to play in Stellenbosch,” he continued.
