Sinky Mnisi announces departure from MaMkhize’s Royal AM

Controversial Royal AM CEO Sinky Mnisi has announced his departure from the club following his ‘return’ from special leave in December.

In August, Mnisi hogged the headlines for all the wrong reasons as he denied being suspended by Shauwn Mkhize’s owned club.

The reported suspension happened soon after the sale of Victor Letsoalo to Sekhukhune United but at the time, Mnisi denied everything.

Instead, Mnisi told reporters in a press conference that he actually decided to take leave, saying he would be back at Royal AM to assume his role as CEO.

However, there seems to have been a twist as he had not been seen anywhere near Royal AM since the news of his suspension broke in August.

Mnisi has now released a statement confirming that he is no longer part of the Royal AM family, and he thanked the club for giving him the opportunity to serve them.

The veteran football administrator also thank God for the success Royal AM achieved under his watch as CEO where they finished third in their first season in the PSL.

MNISI JUMPS OUT OF ‘SINKING’ ROYAL AM SHIP

“It is my pleasure to announce to the world of sports in general and the football village in particular my exit from Royal AM FC with immediate effect after my return from special leave on the 28 December 2022,” reads the statement.

“I am grateful to God for the excellent success I achieved with Royal AM FC in my short stint at the club,” he concluded.
