Masandawana did not get their most recent campaign in African football’s premier club competition off to the best start, drawing 0-0 at home to Congolese outfit AS Maniema Union.

After their next Champions League match against AS FAR Rabat, Ka Bo Yellow will get another opportunity to secure their first continental victory in front of their home supporters when they face Raja Club Athletic.

The Green Eagles are set to come up against Manqoba Mngqithi’s charges on 15 December 2025. However, according to Anbaetv, the reigning Moroccan champions will arrive in South Africa as early as 9 December to adequately prepare for the clash against Sundowns.

The Botola Pro Inwi title holders are scheduled to face Maniema Union on 7 December, and in an effort to prevent the team from becoming even more fatigued, the club will travel directly from the Democratic Republic of Congo to Pretoria instead of returning home first.

The same report claims that a lack of direct flights from Casablanca to Johannesburg is another reason Raja will head straight to the southern tip of the continent so early.

The Ricardo Sa Pinto-led outfit only secured their first win under the Portuguese tactician this past weekend, snapping a seven-game winless run since his appointment, beating Hassania d’Agadir 3-1.
