With Lebogang Mabotja on course to cementing his place in the Sekhukhune United starting line-up after controversy nearly cost him the move, the player’s representatives have set the record straight on what happened.
As he left Marumo Gallants at the end of last season, reports suggested the defender would be joining Royal AM. It was further reported that he might have signed with both Thwihli Thwahla and Babina Noko, although his representatives from Rush Hour Sports Management have been adamant that did not happen.
Speaking to the Siya crew, Mabotja’s agent, Ratshibvumo Mulovhedzi, says he is relieved that confusion is a thing of the past and that the left back is focused on claiming a regular place in coach Brandon Truter’s side.
