Egypt Telegraph has reported that media figure Khaled Al Ghandour has said Ahly manager Marcel Koller is looking to get rid of four players ahead of the coming window.
Al Ghandour claims Youssef Aymen, Karim Nedved, Percy Tau and Reda Selim are the stars in question, with the latter potentially set to leave on loan.
In Aymen’s case, it is claimed Swiss tactician Koller made it clear to the club’s management that he would be unwilling to continue working with the Qatari international.
Regarding South African international Tau, the ex-Mamelodi Sundowns forward has strongly linked with a move away from Al Ahly over the past six months.
Despite the 30-year-old’s impressive record in Egypt, his importance under Koller has appeared to wane in recent times.
Nedved, meanwhile, has made only a single appearance this season across all competitions amid his fitness issues.
Al Ahly are set to play in the FIFA Intercontinental Cup on 14 December, where they will take on the winner between Brazilian team Botafogo and the Mexican team Pachuca.
