FC Barcelona moved to within two points of LALIGA leaders Real Madrid with a 4-1 victory over Sevilla on Sunday night.

Inigo Martinez and Frenkie de Jong were recalled to the Catalan giants line-up while Wojciech Szczesny maintained his spot between the sticks for the third league game in a row.
The visitors got off to the perfect start Robert Lewandowski opened the scoring on seven minutes by firing home from close range after getting on the end of Martinez’s knockdown.
Sevilla, meanwhile, weren’t behind for too long as Saul did well to beat the offside trap before turning provider to set up Ruben Vargas, who made no mistake from close range.
Hansi Flick was forced to make a change after 22 minutes when Ronald Araujo picked up an ankle injury after a tackle from Saul, with Pau Cubarsi brought on as his replacement.
Both sides pushed for a second goal late in the first half, but Sevilla almost took the lead on the stroke of halftime Dodi Lukebakio’s acrobatic volley, but Szczesny produced a stunning save to keep the scores level.
However, Barcelona restored their lead a minute after the break as substitute Fermin Lopez made the perfect impact by scoring with his first touch after Pedri’s good ball over the top.
The lead was extended ten minutes later Raphinha continued his impressive campaign by collecting a pass from Cubarsi in a tight space before firing into the bottom corner.
Five minutes later, Fermin went from hero to villain when he was shown a straight red card for a studs up challenge on Djibril Sow following a check on the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) monitor.
Depite being a man down, Barcelona were able to bag a fourth goal on 89 minutes when Eric Garcia ran onto Raphinha’s free-kick at the post and headed home to round off a good away win.
