MANKATO — Edlin Begic scored the game-winner in the second half off a feed from Gustavs Baltavics for the Rockets.

All-State goalkeeper David Carter made a pair of saves for the clean sheet.

PINE ISLAND — Kirt Rude scored twice in the second half, including the game-winner, as PIZM knocked off Hiawatha Valley League foe Lourdes.

Max Njus scored in the first half as well for PIZM. Lourdes scored twice in the first half to take a 2-1 halftime lead.

“Exciting soccer match from both teams,” PIZM coach Rafal Konik said.
