Kaizer Chiefs 3-1 Richards Bay

Kaizer Chiefs edged closer to securing the DStv Diski Challenge title after defeating Richards Bay 3-1 on Saturday.

The Soweto giants raced into a two-goal lead in the first half thanks to goals from Imaad Hendricks and Naledi Hlongwane.

The home side sealed the win after 69 minutes, with Neo Bohloko finding the back of the net.

Chiefs have cemented top spot for another week on the Diski Challenge table.

Stellenbosch FC 2-0 AmaZulu

Stellenbosch FC kept their title hopes alive with a 2-0 win over AmaZulu on Saturday.

Cheswin Philander and Jeandre Gafoor found the back of the net for the defending champions on the day.

As a result, Stellenbosch remain in second spot, one point behind league leaders Chiefs who have played a game less.

Orlando Pirates 0-1 Mamelodi Sundowns

Orlando Pirates’ stuttering form in the Diski Challenge continued after losing 1-0 to Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday afternoon.

Sipho Ngqakabana netted the game’s only goal in the 70th minute to extend Sundowns’ winning run to four matches.
