With David de Gea struggling to find a club after leaving Manchester United, the goalkeeper is reportedly considering making a surprise decision on his career.
The Spanish shot-stopper has been a free agent since 1 July 2023 after the Red Devils surprisingly decided to rescind their contract offer and sign Cameroon star Andre Onana.

The 32-year-old has been pictured training on his own to maintain his fitness levels but at the moment, there is no side coming in for his services.
According to the Guardian, the former Red Devils goalkeeper could retire from professional football if he does not receive the right offer.
De Gea was linked with both Bayern Munich and Real Madrid due to the injury crisis, but both clubs opted to sign other goalkeepers instead.
The report adds that De Gea is looking for a club that wants to compete for major honours but it seems those offers have not come in.
Another report from 90min claims that Cristian Ronaldo is trying to pursuade his former United teammate to join him at Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr.
However, it is believed that De Gea is only considering the Saud Pro League as a last resort as his wife is keen on settling down in Spain.
