A Togolese goal ace could be heading to the PSL in his next move as interest in his services is believed to be mounting, notably from Gauteng clubs.

Kossi Adetu is believed to be keen on a move to Mzansi to follow in the footsteps of his countryman Dove Wome and others who have plied their trade in the PSL, although the former was originally born in Ghana but is a Togolese by citizenship.

During his time in the K-Pet Super Lig in Cyprus from July 2020 and January 2022 while playing for Baf Ulku Yurdu and Magusa TGSK respectively, Adetu was credited for scoring 38 goals in 41 games.

Having played in Ghana, Liberia and Egypt among other countries, the 29-year-old could be on his way to South Africa, according to close sources.

“There is so much interest in Kossi Adetu in the PSL and clubs in Gauteng are keen on him. He is a goal machine and has been scoring goals week in and week out. It’s just that he is contracted at the moment in the Egyptian second division, but he has an exit clause on his contract. But as long as clubs can be able to pay his club a transfer fee now in January, he is willing to move to the PSL,” said the source.
