South Africa played two international friendlies on Friday and Tuesday night against Eswatini and Ivory Coast, respectively. I just hope that the technical team saw what they wanted to see from these two important games, as we prepare for the World Cup qualifiers and the Afcon. Let’s hope the two games will have helped our preparations regardless of the results. Sometimes it is better to say less or nothing at all. You know, we just have to motivate our players and spread positivity to our national team. Having said that, I wish the coach, the technical team and the players everything of the best as they look to make a statement at the next Afcon and also secure a spot at the next World Cup. It is not going to be easy, but I believe we have it within us to make it to the World Cup and make a mark at the Afcon.
