Just like last season, Kaizer Chiefs have been inconsistent in both the Premiership and the MTN8 despite changing coaches at the start of the season when they brought in Molefi Ntseki.
Arthur Zwane has become the former Bafana Bafana head coach’s assistant together with Dillon Sheppard.

Former Amakhosi midfielder Josta Dladla doesn’t want all the blame to be placed on Ntseki and is asking for the players to pull up their socks and take some of the responsibility for the team’s poor form.
Dladla was talking to Soccer Laduma in a one-on-one interview just before the international break.
“The coach can only do so much. Then the players should take over on the field of play,” Dladla told the Siya crew.

“Yes, I haven’t played under coach Ntseki but I believe he is doing his best to see the team do well. The inconsistency has continued from last season where we could not concede but also not score.
“That has continued this season. We are failing to score and we are conceding as well. The players should do their part on the field of play to help the team.
“You see, it seems easy to play for Chiefs where you are outside but when you join the team the pressure is too much. Wearing that jersey comes with a lot of pressure.
“The legends who played before us set the bar too high for all of us to maintain it and players have to work hard to do that,” Dladla said.

The 44-year-old Soweto born added that the coach also knew the pressure that comes with coaching Chiefs when he accepted the job.
“It’s true the coach was aware of the pressure that comes with coaching Chiefs. At the time he accepted to be the head coach but the players should be there to help him because if the team doesn’t do well and the supporters are frustrated then it’s the coach who becomes the victim of the violence from the supporters.
“If the players can pull up their socks then those situations could be avoided because the results will be good,” Dladla observed.
