Al Ahly boss Marcel Koller is reportedly set to hold extra training sessions for his players as they prepare to face Mamelodi Sundowns.

The Red Devils arrived in South Africa on Wednesday morning ahead of their first-leg tie against Masandawana.
In preparation for the game, Koller revealed he would be hosting extra training sessions to get his players as match-ready as possible.
Egyptian publication Youm7 reported that the Swiss coach would be holding training sessions at 3pm, the same time as the fixture.
The training sessions will be done to ensure that the players can adapt to the atmosphere in South Africa and the same atmosphere that is expected during the game.
Koller and his staff gathered to discuss the team’s plans once in South Africa and it was decided the team would train on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, with every session expected to be at 3pm.

Andreas Andoya, the team’s load planner, is set to determine the player’s fitness levels for the duration of their stay in South Africa.
Al Ahly and Sundowns play the first leg at Loftus Versveld on Saturday 19 April, with the return leg scheduled for Friday 25 April at Cairo International Stadium.
