On Sunday night, La Furia Roja made history as they became the nation with the most EURO title after they won their fourth continental crown at the expense of the Three Lions.

At the heart of the win, as was arguably the case throughout the competition for them, was teenage sensation Lamine Yamal.

The Barcelona teenager turned 17 years old the day before the match and celebrated it by not only by capturing his first major title with his nation, but by shattering multiple records.

As far as the EUROs are concerned, the skilful winger made history in the final by breaking Renato Sanches’ record for the youngest-ever player to play in the closing match of the competition.

The Portuguese midfielder was 18 years and 328 days old when he turned out against France in 2016, while Lamine Yamal was 17 years and one day old against England on Sunday.
