It was yet another drama-filled weekend in the SAFA Limpopo ABC Motsepe League, as the game between Vondwe XI Bullets and Musina United was abruptly stopped in the second half due to players protesting.
The game was halted in the 62nd minute after Vondwe netted a goal that was claimed to be offside at Makhuvha Stadium in Thohoyandou on Saturday, 8 March 2025.
This led to Musina players refusing to continue with the match and leaving the field. The matter will go for review and resolution as per the league’s regulations.
As things stand, the former Owen Da Gama-coached side, Vondwe, is still placed at the top of Stream A with 29 points after 14 matches. They are now equal on points with the second-placed Selwane White Vultures, who have played 16 games.
