Reds manager Arne Slot made two changes from the win over Tottenham Hotspur, with Curtis Jones and Darwin Nunez coming in for Luis Diaz and Dominik Szoboszlai, who both scored in the last game.
The visitors silenced the home crowd after five minutes when Ghanaian forward Jordan Ayew did well to hold off Andrew Robertson before turning and firing in off the near post.
The Reds continued to dominate possession thereafter and they nearly pulled themselves level after 24 minutes as Trent Alexander-Arnold saw his effort from distance crash against the upright.
The woodwork came to Leicester’s rescue on 45 minutes when Mohamed Salah cut inside and unleashed a curling strike that crashed against the crossbar with goalkeeper Jakub Stolarczyk well-beaten.
However, Stolarczyk was beaten a minute later when Cody Gakpo got his name on the score-sheet with a lovely curling effort from 20 yards out for his fourth league goal of the campaign.
Liverpool carried that momentum in the second half and completed the turnaround as Alexis MacAllister surged into the box before pulling the ball back for Jones to turn home from six yards out.
Foxes manager Ruud van Nistlerooy made a double change after going behind, as Facundo Buonanotte and Oliver Skipp replaced Bilal El Khannouss and Bilal El Khannouss to bolster the attack.
However, it was Liverpool who got the next goal in the 81st minute as Salah grabbed his 16th league goal of the campaign with a lovely curling finish to seal maximum points for the league leaders.
