Magesi FC are believed to be looking to strengthen their squad during the January transfer window.

According to insiders close to the club, the Bucs are targeting former Orlando Pirates midfielder Ntsako Makhubela, goalkeeper Tsepo Lingcwele Mahauza and defensive midfielder Siyanda Shangase, both of whom are already training with the team.

Siya sources have informed the Siya crew that Magesi are expected to acquire the services of all three players.

“The club is looking at all the three players. Of course you know Ntsako Makhubela and the other two youngsters are promising players. The goalkeeper Tsepo Mahauza is only 17 years old but very good. The few days he has been training with the team has displayed true  professionalism beyond his age and he is definitely one for the future and defensive midfielder Siyanda Shangase. What can I say? They call him ‘Pit Bull’ and is a 19-year-old defensive midfielder who destroys everything. Let’s just wait and see what will happen to these three players,” the source revealed to Soccer Laduma.

Indications are that Magesi intend to continue strengthening their squad beyond these initial signings.

“I don’t think it will be only these three. They will want to add more experience mainly with players who have been more active in recent times. The coach has identified some areas in the team which he needs to bolster and they are talking to management on how best they can do this. But they will definitely sign a few players this January,” the insider added.

The Siya crew reached out to Magesi for comment but there was no response at the time of publishing.
