Kaizer Chiefs are believed to be looking at their midfield department in terms of how they can make space for improvements, the Siya crew has been informed.
As Soccer Laduma already reported, Amakhosi are tracking Stellenbosch FC midfielder Sihle Nduli and free agent Bongani Zungu. To sign the two midfielders, they need to let go of some of their current players.

Siya sources have indicated that Chiefs could offer a player in addition to the money that Stellenbosch would ask for Nduli’s services.
Insiders at the club stated Amakhosi may offer midfielder Mduduzi Mdantsane plus cash, and will work around the clock to make it possible.
“Chiefs are serious about Sihle (Nduli) and that’s why they want to involve Mduduzi (Mdantsane) in their negotiations with Stellenbosch FC for Nduli. That’s their proposal and it’s not like it’s a guarantee that Stellenbosch will agree because they also have their own demands and also price tags. So although Chiefs are willing to add Mdantsane to the deal it will all depend on what Stellenbosch want and how they want it,” the Siya source stated.
A second insider stated that to create more space in midfield, they are placing another midfielder, Sibongiseni “Ox” Mthethwa on the transfer list. As previously reported by Soccer Laduma, Chiefs were trying to attract a loan move for Mthethwa, but nothing had come out of that intention so far, hence the need to put him on the transfer list now.

“You know there were some teams interested in him in the last transfer window period but nothing came out of that and since the technical team has made it clear there he is not in their plans and they will be here for some time then it’s believed that’s it better they put him on the transfer market. You know it’s easier to find a buyer. So that’s Mthethwa’s situation right now. If both Mdantsane and Mthethwa leave that would open space for the club to sign either Nduli or Zungu or even both of them if need be,” the second source stated.
Both Mdantsane and Mthethwa have not featured in any games this season, though Chiefs have already played five league matches and two fixtures in the Carling Knockout so far.
Soccer Laduma contacted Chiefs for comment, but there was no response by the time this report was published.
