Young Africans are reportedly looking for a new assistant coach.
With Miguel Gamondi and his fellow coaches believed to be skating on thin ice at Young Africans, a new frontrunner has reportedly emerged to coach the East African giants.

Earlier this week, Soccer Laduma revealed that the chiefs at Yanga had called the Argentine tactician in for a meeting this weekend to discuss the back-to-back defeats the team had suffered against Azam FC and Tabora United.
Ultimately, it was decided not to fire the 57-year-old, but according to The Citizen, this has not stopped the Jangwani Street giants from looking for potential replacements.
It was rumoured that the head coach of CS Constantine, Kheireddine Madoui, was the prime candidate to succeed the Olavarría native.
However, with the Algerian side sitting atop the league standings and set to commence their CAF Confederation Cup campaign soon, it is believed that the 47-year-old would only be willing to leave at the end of the season, as he wants to see out the rest of the 2024/25 campaign.
So, for the time being, Gamondi is set to stay on as Yanga head coach, but according to the Tanzanian publication, it is his assistant whose job is under immediate threat.
It is understood that the club are looking to appoint former Azam FC head coach Abdihamid Moallin as their new second-in-charge.

The United States native is said to have recently resigned from his role at KMC, and the East African giants want to bring him in to replace their current Senegalese assistant, Moussa N’Daw.
Young Africans have held talks with Moallin to discuss a potential deal, as they believe he possesses all the attributes they are looking for in an assistant.
