Baroka 0-0 Casric Stars

Baroka halted Casric Stars’ four-game winning run after a goalless draw on Sunday afternoon at Global Stadium.

Casric lost their top spot, as they dropped down to third on the log, one point shy of leaders Milford.

Bakgaga, on the other hand, slipped down to seventh on the log.

Pretoria Callies 0-0 Durban City

Durban City remained unbeaten since the start of the season after a goalless draw against Pretoria Callies on Sunday afternoon at TUT Stadium.

City are left lying fourth on the log, just two points behind leaders Milford and the Romans remained in 14th, three points clear of the relegation zone.

Saturday, 05 October

Leruma United 2-0 Cape Town Spurs

Cape Town Spurs lost ground on the chasing pack after a 2-0 defeat to Leruma United on Saturday afternoon at Lucas Moripe Stadium.

Spurs dropped down to ninth on the log with their second defeat of the season and Leruma moved out of the relegation zone, up to 12th.

Milford 2-1 Highbury

Milford climbed up to the top of the table after a 2-1 win over Highbury on Saturday afternoon.

Zukile Kewuti opened the scoring for Highbury with only seven minutes on the clock but Mvelo Zikakayo levelled matters for Milford ten minutes before time.

Sifiso Mdluli snatched the winner for the Stallions five minutes later.

The Stallions opened a one-point lead at the top of the log and Highbury lowered down to 15th.

Orbit College 1-0 University of Pretoria

University of Pretoria extended their winless run to four matches after a 1-0 loss to Orbit College on Saturday afternoon at Olympia Park.

After a goalless first stanza, Siyabulela Mabele eventually broke the deadlock for Orbit with seven minutes left and that sealed all the three points.

Orbit leapfrogged the Tshwane outfit by one point and one place in tenth spot.

Upington City 1-0 Venda Football Academy

Upington City won their fourth game in five matches after edging Venda Football Academy 1-0 on Saturday afternoon at Mxolisi Dicky Jacobs Stadium.

Trevor Mokwena scored the only goal of the game for Upington early in the encounter, as the victory moved Upington up to second on the log.

Venda, meanwhile, remained at the basement, with only one point after six matches.

Black Leopards 1-1 Hungry Lions

Black Leopards could not win three games in a row after a 1-1 draw against Hungry Lions on Saturday afternoon at Thohoyandou Stadium.

Tshepang Selemogo gave Lions the lead inside the first four minutes and Tsepo Matsimbi equalised for Lidoda Duvha 15 minutes later.

Leopards moved up to fifth on the log while Ditau Dia Rora had to settle for eighth spot.

Kruger United 0-0 JDR Stars

JDR Stars missed the chance to win two games in a row after a goalless draw against Kruger United on Saturday afternoon at Kanyamazane Stadium.

JDR found themselves lying sixth on the log, three points off the promotion play-off spots and Kruger settled for 13th spot, three points above the relegation zone.
