There has been reports about Barcelona wanting to bring Messi back to the club as he did not get a farewell in front ofthe fans due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
However, Guillem Balague has reported that talks about a possible reunion are dead, with the 37-year-old ruling out a return if Joan Laporta is still president of the club.
Instead, Messi looks set to extending his stay with Miami in the Major League Soccer but there are reportedly other offers on the table.
Messi recently spot to Apple TV about his unhappiness during his two seasons with Paris Saint-Germain after leaving Barcelona.
“The way things have evolved in my last years in Paris, even though it was a decision that I had to make immediately because I had to leave Barcelona, I lived there for two years and I didn’t like it.
“I wasn’t happy on a daily basis, in training, in games, I had a hard time adapting to all of this.”
