The Real Madrid players have reportedly given Kylian Mbappe a new nickname following his impressive goal over the weekend.
The French forward bagged his 10th goal in 16 LALIGA appearances with a wonderful strike from distance against Sevilla.
Acording to Defensa Central, the Madrid players now call “Mbappepinazo” in the dressing due to his ability to score from outside the box with power and precision.

The 26-year-old seems to be adjusting to his Los Blancos teammates after chemistry issues earlier this season and he seems to reaping the benefits on the pitch.
Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde has revealed Mbappe is already making his mark in the dressing room.
“We have always seen him give his best. He works and trains as hard as possible to be at his best,” Valverde told Real Madrid TV.
“You can make mistakes, and have bad games or bad plays, but the important thing is to stand up and move forward.
“He is an example and a reference in the dressing room. He is one of the best players in the world and we have to give him affection.

How Many Games Will Bukayo Saka Miss for Arsenal?
Arsenal is looking at multiple weeks without Bukayo Saka after the England star picked up a supposed hamstring injury against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
Saka was substituted at the 24 minute mark of the first half after going to ground grabbing the back of his right leg around his hamstring. Video after the game revealed he was walking on crutches and Mikel Arteta confirmed in a press conference ahead of Ipswich Town that he would miss multiple weeks.
Later asked by the media, Arteta confirmed that he tore something. The manager did not divulge whether it was a partial or complete tear, or if it was indeed his hamstring, but regardless Arsenal will be without their best player in the coming weeks. A major blow after recently getting Declan Rice, Riccardo Calafiori and Martin Ødegaard back fit finally.
Looking at typical recovery time frames, here’s how many games Saka could miss for Arsenal.

Based on context clues surrounding the player’s actions on the pitch and the manager’s comments, it seems like Saka has torn his hamstring. Again, the severity of the tear is unknown but there are some typical recovery times associated with the injury. Arteta himself said it would be multiple weeks on the sideline.
A hamstring tear could take anywhere between two to six weeks, or even multiple months to recover from depending on the severity. If it’s on the former side of the estimation, even looking at just January, Saka could miss six Premier League games including the north London derby, two Champions League games and potentially both legs of the Carabao Cup semifinals against Newcastle United.
If the injury keeps him out even further through February, that’s an additional four Premier League games plus potentially the first round of the Champions League knockout stage if Arsenal doesn’t secure direct round of 16 qualification. If it goes any further into March, we’re talking about nearly a third of a season. A huge blow for Arsenal.
To make matters worse, Raheem Sterling has a knee injury. The Gunners will need Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli to step up in Saka and Sterling’s absences, or perhaps they look at bringing in reinforcements in the January transfer window.

“We have already lost out on the MTN8 and the Carling Knockout but I think we still have the chance to win one more trophy apart from the league. We have the Nedbank Cup and the CAF Champions League to fight for, just as we fight for the league title.
“We need to go all out in all the remaining competitions now and make sure we win the league and at least one other trophy,” Gondwe concluded.

Mabedi also expressed his hopes for the team to maintain their form and bring back the club’s glory days.
“I wish also to see all the players maintain their great form. Yes, there have been poor results here and there and the players have mostly been putting up great performances for the team and I wish that would continue both for individuals as well as for the team.
“If they can do that it would be a great Christmas present to the supporters who have always been there filling up the stadiums in good and bad times,” the former Malawi national team coach concluded.

Has there ever been a Premier League game on Christmas Day? Last time English top-flight soccer was played on December 25 | Sporting News
Just like Santa Claus delivering gifts to billions around the world, the hectic Premier League schedule over the Christmas period has become a holiday tradition that makes you feel exhausted just thinking about it.
While other major leagues across Europe take at least something of a mid-season break, teams in England’s top tier will all play three times between December and New Year’s Day. Despite some opposition from players and managers, it’s a schedule that isn’t likely to change much over the coming years, either.
However, it’s worth remembering that, once upon a time, teams playing on Christmas Day itself was not uncommon.

Has there ever been a Premier League game on Christmas Day?
No Premier League game has ever taken place on Christmas Day. The closest we’ve got is when Wolves hosted Chelsea in a rare Christmas Eve match in 2023, which the home side won 2-1. And, of course, Boxing Day fixtures are commonplace in England’s top division.
The last time a top-flight league game in England was held on December 25 was back in 1965, when Blackpool beat Blackburn Rovers 4-2. As a popular seaside town, it was common for people to take a short Christmas vacation in Blackpool, so it made sense to stage a match while the area was packed with visitors looking for some holiday entertainment.
“Loads of people would go to Blackpool for a Christmas break, so the idea was to give them something to entertain them,” Graham Oates, a former Blackpool player, told The Telegraph. “And for the club to make some money, obviously.”

Do players train on Christmas Day?
It’s not unusual for Premier League players to be given at least some of Christmas Day off to spend with friends and family, but given all teams will typically play at some point from December 26-28, it’s not unheard of for training to take place on the 25th.
For instance, Manchester City’s Kyle Walker revealed this week that Pep Guardiola and his players will hold a Christmas training session ahead of their early kickoff against Everton on Boxing Day.
Are there any soccer games on Christmas Day?
The majority of European leagues take a break on Christmas Day, but there is football to be found on December 25, 2024.
Three games in Egypt’s Premier League are taking place, while several lower leagues in Turkey will be staging matches.
There are also fixtures in Israel, Libya, Morocco, Somalia, Tanzania, Thailand and Vietnam, plus three international games: Sudan vs. Ethiopia in African Nations Championship qualifying, and two matches — Yemen vs. Saudi Arabia, and Bahrain vs. Iraq — in the Gulf Cup of Nations.
