Orlando Pirates may still sign Coton Sport’s Marou Souaibou. The player’s agent, Mike Makaab, has said that talks to complete the deal are still on but not exactly smooth.

According to Makaab, who previously revealed that Marou’s club jeopardised the move, is working again to rekindle Bucs’ interest but the process will be as quick as fans would like.

“We’re busy working on that a moment and still quite a way off, but we’re working on it and as I’ve said to you so many times in football, nothing is cast in stone, nothing can be guaranteed until the player is registered to the football club,” Makaab said via Gagasi FM.

“We’re hoping that we can revitalise the interest in the player by Orlando Pirates. But as I said, we’re a long way off at the moment,” the former Pirates coach concluded.
