Orlando Pirates could have made a key decision on their Cameroonian striker, the Siya crew understands.
Siya sources close to the club have indicated that Souaibou Marou could be loaned out in January so that he can get game time elsewhere as it seems he is not in the technical team’s plans so far this season.

The 22-year-old had joined Pirates in January this year but he has not played a PSL game this season. His only showings came during the CAF Champions League against Jwaneng Galaxy where Marou played for 77 minutes in both the home and away games altogether.
The source added that Pirates have reached a decision to loan him out for the second half of the season so that the player is active.
“Yes, they have been discussing this for some time now because it seems he is low down on the pecking order on the strikers at Pirates,” said the Siya source.
“They know he is a good player who needs to get used to the style of play both at the club and in the PSL so that’s why they want to loan him out so that he can play regularly to keep fit and active.

“They are talking to different teams for the deal to work out in January and we will see which club agrees to the ideal conditions at the end of the day,” the source told Soccer Laduma.
A second source added that they want him to finish his contract at Pirates but the club is open for him to go on loan in the meantime.
“For now the loan will be only for the second half of the season then he is expected to rejoin the team during next season’s off season. That’s when the final decision will be taken because by that time he will be having one year remaining on his current contract which runs until June 2025,” said the second source.
“But the loan move is next on the cards and it will just depend on which team they agree on,” the source concluded.
The Siya crew contacted Pirates for comment but no response was received while this story was prepared.
