According to Transfermarkt, the Umlazi-born goalkeeper was signed from the Bucs development team in 2005 when he was just 17.
He truly bid his time on the sidelines until his breakthrough came in around 2009 under Roger de Sa. Meyiwa became a league champion in 2011 as well as 2012.
“Nzori” also lifted the Telkom Knockout, Nedbank Cup, and MTN8 during what was a golden spell for the Sea Robbers.
He earned seven Bafana Bafana caps before his death at the age of 27.
