Portuguese giants SC Braga have confirmed that they will be amongst a number of European scouts to descend on South Africa to scout some of the finest talents in December this year.
Braga do share a history with South Africa with three players in Luther Singh, Kabomelo Kodisang and Genino Palace having turned out for the club in recent years.
Now, Braga will be looking to add more players to that list through the international scouting event organized by the ‘No Limits Atlas’ Agency which will be held in Pretoria, between December 6th and 8th.

The initiative is the brainchild of 26-year-old Leo De Castro, who is a South African-born footballer, currently residing in Portugal where he played his football.
He has travelled the globe extensively having played in the UAE, the United Kingdom, and more recently, Poland.
De Castro is keen on having young players receive the same opportunities he has and through the talent showcase, is hoping that players will get an opportunity to impress scouts from some of Portugal’s biggest teams.
“We are guaranteeing that the players that are selected will be covered for all their expenses, which include flights, accommodation and travel. This initiative is not just to create a pathway for players, but to forge a relationship with the players from South Africa in general because this is an opportunity we would like to do many times throughout the year, as we do see a lot of big potential in this. You know we do see players having an opportunity to get selected and being signed in Portugal and starting their careers in Portugal, which is a big platform,” he told the Siya crew.
