A club in the Betway Premiership has now released a statement regarding one of their players being involved in a fatal car accident.
The Siya crew reported on Thursday that a Premier Soccer League footballer was involved in an accident, where a young girl sadly lost her life.

The player handed himself over to the police on Thursday afternoon.
Sekhukhune United have now confirmed that Mogaila was involved in an unfortunate ‘incident’ but declined to comment on the matter.

Sekhukhune United FC regrettably learnt of the unfortunate incident involving one of our players, Shaune Mogaila.
We would like to convey our deepest and heartfelt condolences to the family of the minor who lost her life.
Our thoughts and prayers are also with those who have been injured, and we wish them a speedy recovery.
The Club is unable to comment further as the matter is before the court.
