In 2022, Los Blancos broke the bank when they secured Aurelien Tchouameni’s services from AS Monaco.
One of France’s brightest prospects at the time, the Spanish and European giants beat a host of other elite clubs to his signature.
Following his arrival, though, it seems the 24-year-old is yet to fully attain the trust of the Madridistas and manager Carlo Ancelotti as far as the holding midfield position is concerned.
The France international has shown glimpses of his potential at the Santiago Bernabeu, but he has seemingly struggled to find the consistency that will guarantee him a spot in the team’s midfield, with Ancelotti sometimes using him as a central defender due to injuries too.
According to Fichajes, Los Merengues are now opening to selling the Rouen native in an effort to accumulate funds needed to continue bolstering their squad.
One club that is seemingly keen on making a move for Tchouameni is Liverpool.

The Reds were active in the transfer market in the off-season, trying to find a defensive midfielder, but came up short.
Now, the opportunity may have presented itself for them to sign the 2022 FIFA World Cup finalist, but the same report claims that Real will likely be looking to receive what they paid for him, with €80 million said to be their price for the player.
