Having received a lot of backlash in his native France for taking a trip after he was said to be injured, Real Madrid have reportedly reacted to their star’s mini-holiday.

The superstar attacker has been subjected to a tremendous amount of scrutiny in recent weeks.
The former Paris Saint-Germain star was originally scheduled to be selected for France’s UEFA Nations League matches against Israel and Belgium during the ongoing international break.
He was, however, not selected because of a thigh injury he suffered against Deportivo Alaves in LALIGA.
Les Bleus boss Didier Deschamp did not choose him as he wanted his star to recover, but Mbappe would return off the bench against Lille in the UEFA Champions League, and then started against Villarreal in Real’s most recent league match.
This caused an uproar in France, and the situation further exasperated Les Bleus supporters when the Paris native was photographed at a nightclub in Stockholm, Sweden, on the day the two-time world champions took on Israel.
The premise of his omission from the national team was so that he could recover in Madrid, so when he was pictured on holiday, this seemingly angered fans, but according to Relevo, Los Blancos have no problem with their newest Galactico taking some time off.
The same report suggests that the record European champions have a detailed plan to help the 25-year-old recover from his injury, and part of it entails taking some time off.
It is understood that all Real players who did not go on international duty have been given five days off, and Mbappe is one of them, with the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner said to be set to return on Tuesday.
