“It’s all about the teamwork and the coaches share the duties. As you know, the club has quite a sizable squad and it is made up of quality players who all expect to play. So, that’s why the coach (Mngqithi) has been trying to rotate players as much as he can, with obviously the Champions League in his mind, which is a priority for him,” said the source.
“So, what usually happens in training is that Romain (Folz) would work with the attackers, and that is the strikers and attacking midfielders and so on, while Steve would take care of the defenders and so on. Obviously, coach Manqoba oversees everything, including the tactics. That’s how a typical day of training is like for the team. It has been working because Sundowns is scoring goals and defensively the team is strong,” the source said.
