With the transfer window to close later this week, PSL clubs are looking at finalising their signings.
One such club is Orlando Pirates, as Siya sources have indicated that they could be working on bringing on board unsettled Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Gaston Sirino.

Sources from both clubs added that Sundowns may allow the player to go as things stand. Even though it looks complicated for such a deal to be completed, the Siya crew understands there is still hope for Bucs.
“The thing is the player wants to go where he can play and at this moment in time Pirates have shown interest,” said the Siya source.
“This is football and never say never because if both parties agree then the deal can happen. Yes, he still has a running contact with Sundowns but they have been talking on a way out for the good of both parties.
“At the moment I can’t say how far the talks regarding Pirates are, I can’t say what Sundowns and the player have agreed on for his possible release but the interest from Pirates is there,” the source said.

A different source added that Sundowns may want to see the player leave before Friday.
“It’s a catch-22 situation where Sundowns want to cut down the salary wage from a player who is one of the highest paid players at the club but he is not playing and there are teams interested in him,” said the other Siya source.
“So, whether it’s Pirates or other teams, the deal or the move may happen before the transfer window closes. It could be one of the most surprising moves yet to happen I am telling you,” the source told the Siya crew.
Both teams, Sundowns and Pirates were contacted by Soccer Laduma but no response was received while preparing this story.
