Mahlatse Makudubela has been spotted training with a new African giant after parting ways with Young Africans at the end of last season.

The 34-year-old winger is now searching for a new club after being released by Yanga at the end of the previous campaign.
The Vosloorus native is a product of Mamelodi Sundowns’ youth academy and has played for a plethora of clubs in South Africa, including Orlando Pirates and Marumo Gallants.
At the start of the last campaign, after helping Gallants reach the semi-finals of the 2022/23 CAF Confederation Cup, beaten finalists Yanga lured him to Dar es Salaam as he ventured further into the African continent for the first time in his career.
Makudubela is now a free agent and has been spotted training with Congolese outfit AS Vita. The Black Dolphins are not only one of the biggest clubs in the Democratic Republic of Congo but also in Africa.
They boast 15 Linafoot titles and won the 1973 CAF Champions League. The winger could potentially be their newest recruit by the end of the ongoing transfer window. It is yet to be determined what his acquisition will depend on, but the South African has been photographed training with the side.

AS Vita are currently top of Group A in the Illicocash Ligue 1 and will be aiming to add another league title to their collection by season’s end, which would be their first championship since the 2020/21 campaign.
