(ANSA) – ROME, NOV 5 – AC Milan lost 0-1 to Udinese in the
11th day of play in Italy’s Serie A, or premier league, on
Saturday.
Rossoneri fans whistled in disapproval as the team left the San
Siro stadium after failing to score points in their second
consecutive home match in this season’s tournament.
“We struggled and it was a negative game, the worst performance
of this last period,” said Milan coach Stefano Pioli.
“Tonight we struggled over everything: in giving rhythm to the
match and in understanding when to be patient and when to
attack. It’s a shame,” he continued.
“Our fans have supported us enormously during all the games,
this evening we deserve and I deserve the whistles,” said Pioli.
In other Serie A results, Atalanta lost 1-2 to Inter and Napoli
beat Salernitana 2-0 on Saturday. (ANSA).
