Eduardo Camavinga, Rodrygo and Fran Garcia were recalled to the Los Blancos line-up following the loss to AC Milan in the UEFA Champions League during the week.
It was a slow start for the home side, who struggled to carve out any clear-cut chances in the opening 15 minutes other than a strike from distance.
Coach Carlo Ancelotti was dealt a blow after 20 minutes when Rodrygo was forced with a leg injury and replaced by Brahim Diaz on the right flank.
The injury list grew once again for the home side as Eder Militao had to be stretchered off eight minutes later after going down in agonising pain, with young defender Raul Asencio brought on for his debut.
Los Blancos would go on to get the opening goal ten minutes before the break as Vinicius Junior collected a pass from Jude Bellingham before surging forward and rifling the ball beyond Sergio Herrera.
The lead was doubled three minutes before the break when Asencio sent a superb pass over the top for Bellingham, who raced clear and lobbed the on-rushing Herrera for his first goal of the season.
The hosts carried that momentum into the second half, as goalkeeper Andry Lunin turned provider when his long kick sent Vinicius through on goal, with the Brazilian rounding the goalkeeper to slot into an empty net.
Vinicius did go on to complete his hat-trick with 20 minutes to go as Brahim Diaz did well to win possession high up the pitch before unselfishly teeing up the Brazilian, who took one touch and fired home.
Ancelotti’s charges were able to see out the closing stages with relative ease to secure three points and a clean sheet.

Premier League Soccer: Livestream Brighton vs. Man City From Anywhere
Manchester City face Brighton on Saturday with Pep Guardiola’s team looking to avoid experiencing four defeats in a row for the first time under the Spanish manager.
A win for City would see them return to the top of the English Premier League, but the visitors will be without stars Jack Grealish, Rúben Dias and John Stones.
The home team, meanwhile, are in the midst of a tough run of fixtures, coming into this game off back-to-back defeats to Liverpool in the EFL Cup and the Premier League. Now may nevertheless be a great time to face the defending champs, and Brighton have the added incentive of knowing that win here will push them into the top four.
Brighton & Hove Albion take on Manchester City on Saturday, Nov. 9, at the Amex Stadium, with kickoff set for 5:30 p.m. GMT local time, making it a 12:30 p.m. ET or 9:30 a.m. PT start in the US and Canada and a 4:30 a.m. AEDT kickoff in Australia in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Magesi FC made history after advancing to the Carling Knockout final with a 1-0 win over Richards Bay FC on Saturday afternoon.

Richards Bay were boosted by the return of Yamela Mbuthuma from suspension alongside recalls for Justice Figuareido and Keegan Allan, as three changes from their narrow loss against Orlando Pirates.
Magesi, meanwhile, were unchanged from their win over TS Galaxy in the quarter-finals, as Wonderboy Makhubu, Tshepo Kakora, Tshepo Mashigo and Edmore Chirambadare led their attack.
The Natal Rich Boyz did most of the attacking in the early stages but it took them until midway into the first stanza to have a shot on target, as goalkeeper Elvis Chipezeze kept out a shot from Tlakusani Mthethwa from the edge of the box.
Clinton Larsen’s charges were waiting for their chances on counter-attacks and were clinical with their first transition, just before the half-hour mark, as Tshepo Mashigo broke the deadlock with a volleyed shot after he went through on goal.
The hosts nearly replied a moment later after Somila Ntsundwana went through on goal but he was denied by Chipezeze who smothered his close-range effort in a one-on-one.
The game opened up in the latter phase of the first stanza but Brandon Truter’s men in particular were not clinical with their opportunities and went to the break trailing by an odd goal.
The second stanza took time to get going as The Natal Rich Boyz started to threaten around the hour-mark, with Mbuthuma and Figuareido denied by Chipezeze.
Richards Bay gained momentum after that as with 22 minutes remaining, Allan almost levelled matters with a glancing header in the box but the Zimbabwean shot-stopper made another crucial save.
Truter made an attacking and tactical change after that as Thabang Sibanyoni replaced Nkosikhona Ndaba.
However, Richards Bay had a mountain to climb six minutes before time after they were down to ten men after Mthethwa got a second booking and was sent off.
Richards Bay pinned Dikwena in their own half in the dying minutes but they could not get chances, as Larsen’s men secured their first ever Carling Knockout final.
Here’s how they lined up:
Richards Bay: Otieno, Allan, Ndaba, Mabua, Mcineka, Mthethwa, Mabuya, Mthembu, Figareido, Mbuthuma, Ntsundwana
Subs: Manqele, Gcaba, Zikhali, Dube, Sithebe, Ndelu, Gumede, Buthelezi, Sibanyoni

Richards Bay booked their spot in the semi-finals after beating Cape Town City on penalties following a goalless draw in extra-time last weekend.
The Natal Rich Boyz, however, have been struggling in the league, as their winless run stretched to six matches after a narrow 1-0 loss against Orlando Pirates on Tuesday.
The KwaZulu-Natal side will be without Langelihle Mhlongo due to suspension.
Richards Bay reached the semi-finals of this tournament last season but were eliminated 3-0 by eventual winners Stellenbosch.
Magesi, on the other hand, reached the last four of the tournament for the first time after edging TS Galaxy 1-0 courtesy of a lone strike by Lehlogonolo Mokone.
Clinton Larsen’s charges are unbeaten in their last six matches in all competitions and had more rest days as they were not in league action during the week.
Here’s how they line up:
Richards Bay: Otieno, Allan, Ndaba, Mabua, Mcineka, Mthethwa, Mabuya, Mthembu, Figareido, Mbuthuma, Ntsundwana

Premier League Soccer: Livestream West Ham vs. Everton From Anywhere
Two managers in big need of a morale-boosting victory go toe-to-toe in east London on Saturday as West Ham host Everton in the English Premier League.
With Erik ten Hag having been relieved of his duties at Man United, West Ham’s Julen Lopetegui now finds himself in the unenviable position of being the bookies’ favorite to be the next EPL manager to get the sack, following last weekend’s dreadful 3-0 defeat away to Nottingham Forest.
Despite a recent uptick in form, Sean Dyche’s job is also under renewed scrutiny following Everton’s surprise defeat to the EPL’s early season whipping boys Southampton.
West Ham take on Everton on Saturday, Nov. 9 at the London Stadium, with kickoff set for 3 p.m. GMT local time, making it a 10 a.m. ET or 7 a.m. PT start in the US and Canada and a 2 a.m. AEDT kickoff in Australia in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Below, we’ll outline the best live TV streaming services to use to watch the match as it happens, wherever you are in the world.
Can I livestream West Ham vs. Everton in the UK?
No broadcaster has the rights to show this game live in the UK, due to the traditional Saturday 3 p.m. kickoff blackout, which prohibits matches being shown in the region at that time in order to protect attendances throughout the English football pyramid.
That also means that if you’re in the UK traveling for pleasure or for work, you’re unlikely to be able to watch the game like you normally would at home, thanks to geoblocking.
There’s one option to get around this, however. By using a VPN, as explained above, you can set your location to a country where the match is being broadcast and go from there.
Livestream West Ham vs. Everton in Canada
If you want to stream this EPL game live in Canada, you’ll need to subscribe to Fubo Canada. The service has exclusive rights to every Premier League fixture once again this season.
Livestream West Ham vs. Everton in Australia
Football fans down under can watch EPL matches live on streaming service Optus Sport, which is showing every single Premier League fixture of the 2024-25 season live in Australia.

Quick tips for streaming the Premier League using a VPN
- With four variables at play — your ISP, browser, video streaming provider and VPN — your experience and success when streaming EPL matches may vary.
- If you don’t see your desired location as a default option for ExpressVPN, try using the “search for city or country” option.
- If you’re having trouble getting the game after you’ve turned on your VPN and set it to the correct viewing area, there are two things you can try for a quick fix. First, log into your streaming service subscription account and make sure the address registered for the account is an address in the correct viewing area. If not, you may need to change the physical address on file with your account. Second, some smart TVs — like Roku — don’t have VPN apps you can install directly on the device itself. Instead, you’ll have to install the VPN on your router or the mobile hotspot you’re using (like your phone) so that any device on its Wi-Fi network now appears in the correct viewing location.
- All of the VPN providers we recommend have helpful instructions on their main site for quickly installing the VPN on your router. In some cases with smart TV services, after you install a cable network’s sports app, you’ll be asked to verify a numeric code or click a link sent to your email address on file for your smart TV. This is where having a VPN on your router will also help, since both devices will appear to be in the correct location.
- And remember, browsers can often give away a location despite using a VPN, so be sure you’re using a privacy-first browser to log into your services. We normally recommend Brave.

Premier League Soccer: Livestream Wolves vs. Southampton From Anywhere
It’s a potentially pivotal fixture in the battle to beat relegation from the English Premier League as bottom club Wolves host 19th placed Southampton.
Wolves came close to claiming their first win of the season last weekend at home against Crystal Palace. But they had to settle for a 2-2 draw after conceding late, leading to further doubts being raised over Gary O’Neil’s future as manager.
They face a Southampton team that could climb 4 points clear of their hosts with a win on Saturday. Russell Martin’s side claimed a much-needed first win of the season against Everton last Saturday.
Wolverhampton take on Southampton on Saturday, Nov. 9 at the Molineux, with kickoff set for 3 p.m. GMT local time, making it a 10 a.m. ET or 7 a.m. PT start in the US and Canada and a 2 a.m. AEDT kickoff in Australia in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Chiefs Back To Square One With Inacio? | Soccer Laduma
DURBAN, SOUTH AFRICA – SEPTEMBER 25: Inacio Miguel of Kaizer Chiefs shields Fiacre Ntwari of Kaizer Chiefs during the Betway Premiership match between AmaZulu FC and Kaizer Chiefs at Moses Mabhida Stadium on September 25, 2024 in Durban, South Africa. (Photo by Darren Stewart/Gallo Images)
The leadership crisis has continued to plague Kaizer Chiefs, as a new vice-captain Inacio Miguel has not been leading by example.
Miguel, who has been made the new captain by head coach Nasreddine Nabi, at least whenever Yusuf Maart is not on the field, has had an ill-discipline start at Chiefs.
The 28-year-old defender, after missing Amakhosi’s 2-2 draw against Magesi due to an accumulation of yellow cards, is set to miss the Glamour Boys’ next two matches after the international break, as just after he returned against Mamelodi Sundowns in the Carling Knockout, he got two bookings and was red-carded.
With Maart, who has been criticized for lack of leadership qualities in and out of the line-up under Nabi, Chiefs could be back to square one in finding the right type of a leader at the club, especially since the exit of stalwarts like former goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune.
READ: How Khune Became A Shareholder In Betting Company
According to former Amakhosi captain Neil Tovey, the lack of leaders at the Soweto giants is one of the main problems they can’t get back to challenging for top honours.
“You need players, even at training when you’re not pulling your socks, [the late] Thabang Lebeses, Thabo Mooki, they knew if they didn’t lift their game at training I would be on top of them immediately, have a go at them, right from the training field, not just when it gets to the game performance!” Tovey said on SoccerBeat YouTube Channel.

“The leadership, I think yes they’ve had leaders but I don’t know if they had that many like we’ve had in the past, who would really be on top of you if don’t perform and didn’t do your job as required, that I think is a big task that they need to get those leaders back into the club and the performances will raise,” Tovey affirmed.
Chiefs had at least four players captaining the side last season, goalkeeper Brandon Petersen, Khune, Yusuf Maart and Keagan Dolly.
