With the goal of equipping and developing young aspiring soccer players, Global Soccer Schools, in association with professional soccer team SuperSport United FC, has come together to help Kempton Park’s young players achieve their dreams.
Originally named SuperSport United Soccer School, the academy later rebranded as Global Soccer Schools.
Under the leadership of Ryan Macfarlane, Global Soccer School Kempton Park has been operating since its establishment in 2015.
The school focuses on the technical development of players from ages two to 15, to create well-rounded soccer players capable of mastering ball control.

“Global Football Projects were born out of the need to provide a holistic footballing service that caters to every aspect of a young player’s journey,” said Macfarlane.
“The success of our premium brand, Global Soccer Schools International—formerly SuperSport United Soccer Schools—has prompted us to expand our approach in developing young footballers.”
The school’s vision is to achieve high performance by applying strong principles, proven training methods, a solid support structure, and creating memorable soccer experiences for children of all ages.

Macfarlane highlighted the school’s achievements, particularly in international tournaments.
“We had academy teams participate in the Ibercup International Youth Football Tournament in December, where we won the tournament’s gold stream in the U9, U10, U11, and U13 age groups. Our U12 team also reached the finals.”He added that several players from the school have advanced to play at top clubs worldwide, as well as in various PSL teams.
Global Soccer Schools encourages players to spend significant time working with the ball to improve technical skills.Young players train between 10-20 hours per week, in addition to personal practice.
Macfarlane assured that despite the intensive training schedule, players are not at risk of over-training or injury, as the sessions are engaging and focused on individual skill development.
“One of our main challenges is helping parents understand our training philosophy. If they trust the process and follow our guidance, we will do our best to develop their child into the best footballer they can be.”
Macfarlane emphasised three essential elements that contribute to the school’s success: a high level of commitment, consistent training time, and strong discipline.
