Sundowns opened a 12-point lead on Wednesday evening with a come-from-behind 3-1 victory over Marumo Gallants.
Sundowns will also be without the services of veteran goalkeeper Denis Onyango, who was sent off in the win over Gallants while Grant Kekana and Tashreeq Matthews are also suspended.
The Brazilians will be coming up a Galaxy side that handed them a first league loss under Miguel Cardoso last week.

Galaxy, however, suffered back-to-back losses since then after losing Durban City in the Nedbank Cup before going down 3-2 to TS Galaxy on Tuesday night.
The loss to Stellenbosch has left the Rockets in fifth position, four points adrift of the top four.
