Mamelodi Sundowns coach Miguel Cardoso looks set to have Mothobi Mvala and Themba Zwane available soon.
With the season heading into its most crucial period, Mamelodi Sundowns are set to be boosted by the availability of two Bafana Bafana stars in the near future.
Both Mothobi Mvala and Themba Zwane are yet to kick a ball at a competitive level in 2025, as they have been recovering from injuries.

The Bafana Bafana stars, who will be looking to fight for their places in the national team for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in December, have been training with their teammates at Chloorkop and the Siya crew understands that they could be back in the Sundowns matchday squad in early March.
Mvala has not featured for the reigning champions since November last year, when he came on as a substitute in a Betway Premiership clash against Sekhukhune United. It’s been a tough season for the former Highlands Park player, with just eight appearances in all competitions. He missed the start of the campaign with injury and not long after coming back in October, he was out again nursing a knock.
With his contract coming to an end in June, the 30-year-old will be determined to fight for his place in the team and prove himself to coach Miguel Cardoso.

Like Mvala, Zwane’s contract at Sundowns is set to expire in June. The captain of the team looks set to be available for selection, having missed out on football for Sundowns since October last year.
He picked up an injury while on national team duty against DR Congo in the 2025 AFCON qualifiers, but has been training with the rest of his teammates at Chloorkop. He has been closely monitored by the technical team and is likely to be ready next month for selection.
