Percy Tau was among the goals as Al Ahly thrashed Khanyiso Mayo’s CR Belouizdad 6-1 in their CAF Champions League group stage clash on Sunday evening.
Tau started on the bench for the defending African champions, while Mayo was included in the starting line-up for the Tunisian giants.
Mayo’s Belouizdad took the lead in the 21st minute through Aimen Mahious’ strike, but that was as good as it got on the day.

Tau was introduced just before the halftime break after Reda Slim, who picked up an injury.
The former Brighton and Hove Albion attacker went on to bag Al Ahly’s fifth goal in the 86th minute, opening his account in the group stages this campaign.
Al Ahly were able to get a sixth goal in second-half stoppage time, with Tau turning provider to set up Emam Ashour to round off an emphatic victory.
