Some of the country’s top student athletes are taking the pitch this month for the NCAA Division I Women’s Soccer Tournament. Sixty-four teams qualified for this year’s tournament, which is the 42nd edition of the postseason championship.
The first round kicked off Nov. 10 and the second round kicks off Nov. 17. That’s followed by the round of 16 on Nov. 19 and then the quarterfinals and semifinals. The College Cup final takes place Dec. 4.

The NCAA Division I Women’s Soccer Tournament is a postseason tournament to crown the women’s college soccer national champion. The tournament culminates in the College Cup, which will be played on Dec. 1 and Dec. 4.
North Carolina has been the most dominant school in Division I women’s soccer, taking home the title 22 times, and the Tar Heels are once again predicted to win this year.
